Why did I receive an email when I did not make a donation?

We generate emails expressing our appreciation when someone makes a donation using their Vital Care ID in a Petco Pet Care Center. Is it possible that you, or someone who uses your rewards, made a donation? It’s also possible that someone else made a donation but used an incorrect rewards ID, or a Petco partner typed in the rewards ID incorrectly. Please note that the donation amount listed in the email you received is not tied to your credit card or bank account.  If you email us at [e-mail] and provide us your phone number as well as your Vital care Rewards number, we can confirm donations associated with your Rewards account. We apologize for any inconvenience.
