How do I apply for a grant?

Thanks for your interest in becoming a Petco Love partner organization. To get started, login to our Partner Portal. In order to prepare to apply for funding during upcoming grant cycles, please follow the steps listed below. Please note that organizations apply by type of organization rather than type of funding. Qualified organizations may apply for any type of funding during their applicable grant cycle. 

1. Go to petcolove.org/for-partners/investment-opportunities for information regarding our grants process, grant cycle dates and opportunities.  

2. If your organization performs adoptions, complete your Annual Data Report. 

3. Check your organization information on our site and submit an Organization Details Update form if you need to change the organization address or contacts.  

4. Apply for a grant based on your organization type during open grant cycles. 

5. Sign up for Paymode at http://www.paymode.com/petcolove so that you will be eligible to receive funds electronically (EFT) if approved for a grant.  

6. Sign up for the Petco Love newsletter for updates and information.  

Also, if you would like to partner with Petco Pet Care Centers for adoptions, please submit the Adoption Partnership Application located in the Partner Portal under “Applications & Forms.” If you have any questions or require additional information, please let us know.
